• Craggaunowen Castle
  Craggaunowen Castle was built by John MacSioda MacNamara around 1550. It is a typical example of a fortified Tower house which was the ordinary residence of the gentry at the time.
• The Crannóg - Craggaunowen
  Reconstruction of a Crannóg, a partially or entirely artificial island, usually built in lakes, rivers and estuarine waters of Scotland and Ireland. Crannógs were used as dwellings over five millennia,

  Reconstruction of a ringfort, circular fortified settlements that were mostly built during the Early Middle Ages up to about the year 1000.
